In the center of Bovec , which is 2.5 km from our accommodation, you can visit a small museum called "Story of the Stergulčeve house", which presents the stories of Bovec's past.
The Trenta Museum and the Triglav National Park Information Center present the cultural landscape, nature and past life in Trenta. It is suitable for both adults and children. The distance from our accommodation to the museum is 22 km, which is about 25 minutes by car.
The museum from planina to planika in Kobarid presents grazing and cheese making in Posočje. You can also get local food from the Planika dairy.
In the Kobari Museum, you can dive into the world 100 years ago in a special way, when the war raged right here, the so-called Soča Front in the First World War. Kobarid is about 20 km from Čezsoča, which means about 25 minutes by car. You can also see the personal military collection of a local in the village of Kal-Koritnica.
In the town of Tolmin, you can see the permanent exhibition entitled "Debris of the history of the area" in the Tolmin Museum . There, you can see the time from the older Stone Age all the way to the 20th century. The museum is also suitable for children. The museum (Tolmin) is 35 km from our accommodation, which is about 40 minutes by car.
The fortress of Bovška Kluže is located 4 km from Bovec in the direction of the Predel Pass. There is a permanent exhibition of some of the cultural and artistic events.
