For the reservation we will connect you with our pilot with who you will arrange the best timing for paragliding depending on the weather conditions. I recommend, that you spend at least a couple of days in Soča Valley to arrange flying on the first day because its possible that it will be rescheduled because of the flying conditions. If you have any health problems or recent injuries, you must talk to the guide before the activity. The ideal weight for passengers is between 20-100 kg. Additionally, the activity is not recommended for people with heart problems or pregnant women.
Your paragliding adventure starts in Bovec or at the arranged meeting point around Bovec. The driver will pick you up with a 4x4 jeep or van. After meeting, we will explain more about paragliding and where we will take off. The take off location totally depends on the weather conditions. All you need to bring with you is comfortable sports wear and proper footwear. We recommend hiking shoes. All other necessary equipment will be provided for you. Than we have two choices of takes off. The one with the better weather conditions will be chosen. It could be either Mangart saddle or Kanin.
Before you start your paragliding adventure in Bovec we will give you all the necessary safety gear. Your pilot will set up all of the equipment, and will give you instructions about safety, take off and landing. After that, we are ready to hit the clouds.
Paragliding in a tandem does not require any prior knowledge or experience. All our tandem pilots are locals with long years of experience. Paragliding is their passion and way of life, so you will definitely feel safe under their wings.
Possible takeoff locations:
- MANGART SADDLE (1947 m) – Magnificent views of Julian Alps and the longest Slovenian mountain wall – Wall of Log. Landing in Log pod Mangartom.
- KANIN (1717 m) – with good visibility you can see the highest mountain of Slovenia –Triglav and Adriatic sea, both at the same time. In any case you can enjoy the stunning view of the curvy Soča river and mighty Julian Alps. Take off from the highest ski resort in Slovenia.
