Kayaking Soča River

Kayaking Soča River is suitable for beginners as well as experienced paddlers. It’s for everyone who want to freshen up in a cold river, learn something new and just enjoy in the most beautiful nature.

Experience the panorama of the Soča valley in the most beautiful way. Soča is a wild river, that offers easy sections for beginners and technically more difficult sections for more experienced kayakers.

First of all we will meet on our address Čezsoča 71, where we have big free parking space with toilets and changing rooms.
Make sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time to allow enough time for preparation. At our base, you will complete necessary paperwork and payments. If you have any health concerns, our guides will be available to assist you and accompany you on the kayaking journey.

After this, we will give you all important equipment which is needed for your for kayaking trip on Soča River. This includes helmet, life jacket, neoprene clothes and neoprene shoes. All you need with you is swimwear and towel. For the sake of security, we have open kayaks, also called ‘Sit on top’. On the kayak trip we will experience difficulty level 1 and 2, so you do not need prior knowledge, only swimming basic.

Together we will drive to the starting point, which is located under the bridge in Čezsoča Village. There you will change into our equipment while our driver and your guide will prepare the kayaks for you. Together you will take the kayaks to the river.

Before embarking on the adventure, our guides will provide a comprehensive safety briefing, covering paddling techniques, safety procedures, and river navigation rules, including how to swim in the river.

The first you will practice a bit at the starting point to get used to the kayaks and the paddling techniques. After that we will go to have fun. Right after the starting point you will meet the first rapids and your guide will show you how to do it. All you need is to follow the instructions of your guide.

On the way you will also stop for for a break to have a nice swim and play some games for extra fun time.

Along the route you will also have to ask your guide about Soča Valley. Throughout the trip, our guides will capture memorable moments and share them with you via your preferred method, such as Airdrop, WeTransfer, or other apps.

Finish will be under the bridge next to Boka hotel.

Upon arrival, our drivers will be already waiting for you to bring you back to our base. Our guides will also assist in loading the equipment. Changing rooms will be available at the parking area.
