Canyoning Fratarica is one of the largest and most beautiful canyons in the Soča Valley.

The Fratarica stream, which flows into the Koritnica River in Log pod Mangartom, is one of the most stunning canyons in the western part of the Triglav National Park.

The Koritnica River Valley is known as the Valley of a Hundred Waterfalls. Various waterfalls of all shapes and sizes, especially on a rainy day, flow into the Koritnica River.

How does our activity work?

For our canyoning activity Fratarica we meet at our address Čezsoča 71, where there is a large free parking lot. Please arrive at the scheduled departure time to have enough time to prepare. There are also toilets and changing rooms in our parking lot.
You will complete the necessary documentation and payments at our base. If you have health problems, our guides will be available to help you and accompany you on your adrenaline canyoning adventure.

You only need to bring a swimsuit, towel and dry clothes to change into after the trip. We will provide you with all the necessary equipment for canyoning Fratarica.

We start the day with a 20-minute drive to Log pod Mangartom, where our canyon is located. After arriving at the parking lot in the canyon, you change into our equipment, and we will leave your dry equipment in the car. Do not carry valuables with you, as you will not need them during canyoning.

We have to walk through the forest for about 25 to 40 minutes to enter the canyon. On the way, you will also see the beautiful almost 50 m high Parabola waterfall.
Before entering the canyon, the guide will explain some necessary instructions and safety procedures that you need to know.
Each of our guides has experience and a guide license, because safety is paramount.

Together we will discover various waterfalls and beautiful natural pools. Walking along the stream, sliding down slippery stone slides and descending large waterfalls are just a few of the activities that will await you in the canyon. It will be adrenaline-pumping and a lot of fun.

If the stream bed does not impress you, the Parabola waterfall will definitely impress you, as it is a mighty 48 meter high waterfall, perfect for abseiling. It is located in the middle part of the riverbed. Then follows the Cathedral, where you will feel like you are in front of an altar.
Until the end, there are a few more jumps into crystal clear pools and natural slides, where you will descend up to 6m deep.

After the trip, you will exchange your wet neoprene at the parlor for your comfortable clothes. There are also changing rooms in the parking lot.

Our guides will also create beautiful memories for you. Pictures and videos of your canyoning adventure in Fratarica will be sent to you via Wetransfer after the trip is over.
