The difference between classic and family rafting on the Soča River in Bovec

Rafting on the Soča River is an exciting water adventure on one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe. Emerald green water, picturesque alpine scenery and dynamic rapids create a unique experience for both beginners and experienced adventurers. Under the guidance of experienced guides, participants descend on different sections of the river in special boats (rafts), offering a combination of adrenaline, fun and natural beauty. There are two different types of rafting on the Soča River: classic and family rafting.

Classic rafting is intended for adrenaline-seeking individuals and includes more demanding rapids (from level 1 to 4), a faster pace and more action. It is suitable for adults and teenagers with basic physical fitness. For classic rafting, you also need a permit for the Soča River, for family rafting it is already included in the price.

Family rafting takes place on a calmer part of the river, with a slower flow and smaller rapids, making it ideal for children and the elderly. It is also suitable for non-swimmers

The emphasis is on fun, safety and experiencing nature.

For rafting on the Soča River, you only need a swimsuit and some good will, and we provide most of the equipment.
